Palliative/ End of Life Care

Palliative care is the treatment, care, and personalised support that palliative Care professionals, their family members and friends provide to those with a life-limiting illness. With palliative care, the main objective is to provide you with a good quality of life according to your preferences and wishes, while remaining as independent and active as possible as much as possible throughout your remaining life. Palliative care is concerned with the management of physical symptoms such as pain and provides emotional, spiritual, and psychological support to patients and their families.

Our cares can help with:

Night Care

Families are often happy to provide the care and support their loved one needs during the day, but finding it hard to manage the overnight commitment for their own health and well-being, overnight care by a trained professional carer can provide the perfect solution.

Sleeping night care

This involves a professional carer living with you in your home and providing you with support up to twice throughout the night, giving you comfort and reassurance that someone is there in case you need them.

Waking night care

Professional care workers provide overnight services while still being awake during the night’s hours, so that they can monitor your health and adjust as necessary to changes in your wellbeing, whilst providing all the assistance you require.

24-hour Live-in Care

Living in the comfort and familiarity of one’s own home is what is meant by live-in care, which is the act of a professional caregiver living with you in your home to provide you with 24 hour care, companionship, and support.

Families often feel that the only option when a loved one or family member needs care and support is to move into a nursing home or care facility. Having in-home care rapidly becomes the preferred alternative for those who desire to remain in the comfort and familiarity of their own home while still receiving the support and care they need to fulfill their lives.

Social Care/ Day Care

A day center provides elders with practical assistance and the opportunity to socialise, with the help of our trained staff.

Rapid Response Care

Short-term care that can be provided at short notice is known as rapid response care at home. Rapid response care can answer urgent care needs or stress situations. It is our objective to prevent unnecessary hospital admissions and to alleviate pressure points (such as winter bed blocking), so that the elderly can be taken care of safely in their own homes.

Re-Enablement Packages

Reablement care is provided to people who are recovering from an illness or injury or have disabilities so they are able to return to their homes after a hospital stay. As opposed to addressing health issues, reablement focuses on restoring independent functioning. Our mission is to help people regain the ability to care for themselves instead of resorting to conventional home care methods. Reablement appears to be valued by those who receive it and is a cost-effective investment.

Domestic Work

Often, we find that our clients simply can’t manage to do some of life’s more arduous chores such as emptying the garbage or changing the bedsheets because they are too frail or physically disabled. Many of life’s mundane tasks, such as emptying the bins, changing the bed sheets, and dusting, can be physically demanding, and we find some of our clients are less capable or physically disabled, resulting in them simply not being able to accomplish them.
